Description

The Parameters subkey contains subkeys that function like traditional registry entries. These subkeys store lists of items identified to the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) service. Each item in the list is represented by a numbered entry. The name of the item is stored in the value of the entry.

The SNMP service implements SNMP standards for TCP/IP and Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) networks. This service enables you to remotely manage and monitor servers, workstations, routers, and hubs from a centrally-located computer.
