System
HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
Description
The System subkey stores entries related to policies of the operating system, such as the logon environment, task scheduler, and permissions to set and update group policies. Group Policy creates and maintains these entries, and are the system component programs read and interpret them.
This subkey stores entries that are configured separately for each user. There is also a Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System subkey in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, which stores entries that apply to all users of the computer.
