Class-ID
HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\MMC
Description
The Class-ID subkey contains entries that store Group Policy settings for Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-ins. Group Policy creates and maintains these entries, and the snap-in programs read and interpret them. This subkey is named by the class identifier (class ID) of the snap-in to which it applies.
Each Class-ID subkey represents a snap-in in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). The entries that appear in these subkeys apply only to that snap-in
Note
The Class-ID subkey is a variable representing the subkeys under the MMC subkey. It does not actually appear in the registry. This variable subkey is used to display information that is common to the subkeys in the MMC subkey.
