Description
Determines whether Performance Monitor 4 (Perfmon4.exe) records error and warning events when it cannot retrieve data or when it retrieves unreadable or uninterpretable data (such as negative time). These events appear in the Application Log in Event Viewer.
When Performance Monitor 4 receives uninterpretable data; it displays either 0 or 100 for the data point, depending on the counter type.

Activation method
Changes to this value take effect the next time you start Performance Monitor 4.
Note
This entry is only applies to Performance Monitor 4 (Perfmon4.exe), a tool provided only on the Windows 2000 Resource Kit companion CD. It does not affect System Monitor. To configure System Monitor, use the System Monitor Properties dialog box.
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
