Description

Determines whether the system records an event at startup notifying users that FIFO is enabled on their system. If enabled, the event appears in the System Log in Event Viewer. By default, LogFifo is set to 1 when the system is installed. After the event appears once, the system sets LogFifo to 0 to suppress the event thereafter.

The value of this entry is used as the default value for all serial ports on the computer. Settings for specific serial ports are stored in the device-specific subkey for that port in the Enum subkey.

To change the value of this entry, you must edit the registry. To change the LogFifo setting for a specific serial port, use Device Manager.
