Description

Determines whether Windows 2000 performs router discovery on this interface.

Router discovery solicits router information form the network. The system adds the information retrieved to the route table.

Disables router discovery.

Enables router discovery.

Note

Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.

Tip

The router discovery method is specified in RFC 1256, ICMP Router Discovery Messages.
