Managing Jobs and Tasks

You can use HPC Job Manager to monitor, modify, or save your submitted jobs.

View a Job or Task: View job or task properties, states, and results.
Track Job State: Monitor the progress of your job.
Modify a Job: Make changes or add tasks to active jobs.
Requeue a Job or Task: Put unfinished jobs or tasks back into the queue.
Copy a Job or Task: Run a job again, either as-is, or with changes.
Save a Job or Task to a File: Export the job or task specifications to an XML description file.
Cancel a Job or Task: Remove a job or task from the queue, and free its resources.

You can also submit, manage, and view jobs on a cluster using the HPC command-line tools, HPC PowerShell, or HPC Basic Profile Web service. For more information, see Online Resources.
