HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control

Description

The Keyboard Layout subkey stores data that associates Windows 2000 keyboard layout names with MS-DOS-style two-character keyboard layout names. This data is used by the kb16 command, which equals the keyb command in MS-DOS. The system uses this information when loading a keyboard layout for virtual DOS machine (VDM) windows.
