Configuring firewall chaining

This topic describes how to enable and configure firewall chaining. Firewall chaining specifies how to redirect requests from Firewall clients and SecureNAT clients.

Configuring firewall chaining properties

In the Forefront TMG Management console tree, click Networking, and then click the Networks tab.
On the Tasks tab, click Define Firewall Chaining Properties.
Select Use the primary connection to specify that requests from Firewall clients and SecureNAT clients should be routed to the primary destination (usually the Internet).
Select Chain to this computer to specify that requests should be routed to an upstream server. To prevent name resolution problems, specify an IP address.
