About automatic discovery

Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway supports automatic discovery to allow Web Proxy applications to automatically locate a Forefront TMG server to use for client requests. Automatic discovery can be configured for client using a static configuration script or using the Web Proxy Automatic Discovery (WPAD) protocol, which allows automatic discovery of Web proxy servers.
