Planning Redundancy for a NAP Health Policy Server

To provide redundancy for a NAP health policy server, you must configure your NAP enforcement servers to forward connection requests to a remote RADIUS server group that contains a primary and secondary health policy server. The NAP configuration of your primary health policy server can be exported to file and then imported to the secondary server so that each is configured identically. If the NAP enforcement server cannot contact the primary health policy server, it will use the secondary health policy server for client health validation. See the following figure.
