Windows® HPC Server 2008 provides a platform for Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) based applications. Using the SOA programming model, solution developers and architects can rapidly develop new high-performance computing (HPC) cluster-enabled interactive applications and can easily modify existing distributed computing applications.

In HPC Cluster Manager, administrators can configure Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) broker nodes, monitor broker nodes, manage sessions, troubleshoot run-time problems, and create service resource usage reports.
