Text Box Properties Dialog Box, Alignment (Report Builder 3.0)

Select Alignment on the Text Box Properties dialog box to position the values within a selected cell or data region.

Options

  • Horizontal
    Specify where the value is positioned horizontally within a selected cell or data region. By default, Default is selected. The value for Default is General. For more information about how general text alignment is calculated, see Formatting Text and Placeholders (Report Builder 3.0 and SSRS). Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Vertical
    Specify where the value is positioned vertically within a selected cell or data region. By default, Default is selected. The value for Default is Top. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Left
    Specify how much padding, or space, there is between the left edge of a cell and the value displayed within the cell. The default is 2 points. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Right
    Specify how much padding, or space, there is between the right edge of a cell and the value displayed within the cell. The default is 2 points. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Top
    Specify how much padding, or space, there is between the top edge of a cell and the value displayed within the cell. The default is 2 points. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Bottom
    Specify how much padding, or space, there is between the bottom edge of a cell and the value displayed within the cell. The default is 2 points. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.
