New .NET on TechNet

On September 26, five new technology centers are going live. These new areas all contain information on .Net Servers:

  • Host Integration Server

  • Commerce Server 2000

  • Application Center Server

  • Internet Security and Acceleration Server

  • Biztalk Server

All will be accessible from the left nav under "Navigate by Product."

Explore these new areas, send us suggestions for topics you'd like to see, and let us know how you like the topics we've posted. We're especially interested in how you like the online product help documentation from Host Integration Server. Thank you for taking the time to send us feedback!

Puzzler Update

The latest round of the famous Puzzler challenge has wound up (or down, depending on your prepositional preference). We hope you all used your chance to win great prizes, along with your name's publication on our Winners List and no small measure of fame. For this round, we've got great hardware to give away: an HP Jornada 548 hand-held color PC and two runner up prizes of Compaq Aero 1500 Palm-size PCs.

And not least, those who answered the four questions correctly won a coveted Puzzler T-shirt.

The Puzzler is going on hiatus for the time being. We're busy planning another knockout round, so keep watching this column and our home page for further Puzzler hoopla.

Goodbye Tim

You've probably noticed that we're no longer sporting the mug of Tim McBride on the Editor's Note. Tim was promoted to our U.S. subsidiary, and the whole team misses him. Certainly the Editor's Note is bereft of his engaging grin and witty prose. I'm filling those shoes for the foreseeable future, having been on the editorial staff for over a year (how many Web years does one human year equal?). I look forward to hearing from you and using your feedback to make TechNet increasingly useful.
