What's Changed

Some of you may have noticed that TechNet has a slightly different look. We've made some changes to the presentation of the site, but you'll still find the same great content. This step is all part of a larger plan to help you find what you want, when you want it. You'll see more changes over the coming months.

One of the changes you may notice is that Eileen Duncan is no longer writing this column. She has taken the position of TechNet Site Manager. She's handed over the editorial reins to me. Over the coming months, I hope to be engaging many of you in dialog about how TechNet can improve the content posted on the site.

In Times to Come

And speaking of what's to come, near the end of the month, we'll be posting a fresh version of our Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Upgrade Series Preview. We've listened to your feedback and made changes based on what you've sent us. Thanks to all of you who have submitted comments and suggestions.

Over the next couple of months, we'll be bringing you more in-depth information about the .NET servers, starting with the Commerce Server 2000 product documentation and including e-commerce solutions content from the same folks who produced the Exchange Upgrade Series previously mentioned.

Currently Available

For those of you looking for something to sink your teeth into immediately, we're currently publishing a preliminary look at our new Office 2000 and Windows 2000 Professional Technical Series. Again, we're asking for your feedback to help us shape this into the definitive guide to deploy Office 2000 on Windows in a business environment. We'll be adding more guides on maintenance and troubleshooting later. We want to be sure we're meeting your information needs, so please let us hear from you about this content.

Technical Chats

Our chats are not only continuing, they are expanding. As many of the new .NET servers become available, we'll be adding chats for them. This is your opportunity to ask questions of the software engineers who designed, built, and continue to support these products. If you miss a chat, you can review the transcripts, usually posted about three weeks after the chat.
