How to Purge Export Logs

After you export a catalog, Commerce Server 2009 creates export log files for each export operation. To remove the finished operations from the Catalog System, you must purge the export logs.

To remove one export operation

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and then click Catalog Manager.

  2. In the Catalog Manager, in the Views pane, click Status.

In the Progress Status pane, Catalog Manager lists all the export logs for each export operation.

  3. Select the export operation you want to remove, in the Task pane, click Remove From List.

This action removes the log file from view in Catalog Manager, but does not remove it from the database. To remove log files from the database, you must purge all export operations.
