When you put stuff on the desktop, it goes on it from top to bottom in columns. Also, if you sort icons on the desktop using the menu, it sorts in columns. However, if you use click+shift+click to highlight a group of items like I do very often, it chooses items that are side-to side in rows. Therefore, you can never actually choose a group of objects on the desktop that you actually wanted to select.

I would like to see windows (some where along the line) be able to allow users to store layouts for their programs. I.e when my windows loads, windows live messenger and Skype start automatically. I would like to see a way such that windows both programs will appear at (determined) x, and y with height h, and width w. also to be able to run the layouts automatically and also determine which layout i wish to use/use next time. $0$0 $0 $0Just putting it out there$0 $0$0 $0 $0Thanks$0

When coming out Suspend/ Hibernation Windows isn't turning the wireless card back on. Temp solution to the problem is to to cycle the switch off then on for the card.

I'm using an ASUS A7J Laptop. With the only upgrade is an additional 500 mb of ram.
