Assessing the status of virus and other malware protection

The list view on the Security tab in the Windows SBS Console displays information about the security components that are installed on your server. Click a security component to select it. Summary information related to that component is displayed in the details pane.
If there are issues on your network, you can view a summary that lists all of the computers on your network, the installed Windows SBS 2008 software and applications, and the status of the antivirus, anti-spyware, and anti-malware software.
To view a summary of installed malware protection for network computers

Open the Windows SBS Console.

Do one of the following:
- To view a summary report of the virus protection software that is installed on each computer on your network, click View summary of virus protection for file system.
- To view a summary report of the malware protection software that is installed on each computer on your network, click View summary of spyware and malware protection.
- To view a summary report of the virus protection software that is installed on each computer on your network, click View summary of virus protection for file system.
