Authoring Console Supported Configurations
This section lists the supported hardware and software configurations for installing and running the Operations Manager 2007 R2 authoring console.
Hardware Requirements
The following are the minimum and recommended hardware requirements for running the authoring console.

Software Requirements
The authoring console requires the following software in order to run:
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
To add or edit product knowledge using the authoring console, the computer must meet the following software requirements:
Microsoft Office Word 2003 with the .NET Programmability feature, or Microsoft Office Word 2007 or Office Word 2010 Professional edition (Standard edition is not supported)
Note
Only the 32-bit version of Word 2010 is supported. The knowledge template will not work with the 64-bit version of Word 2010.
