Finding the Domain Controllers or Global Catalog Servers in a Site

This topic explains how to use the Active Directory module for Windows PowerShell to find the domain controllers or global catalog servers in a site.

The following example demonstrates how to find the global catalog servers in a forest:

Get-ADDomainController -Filter {Site -eq 'Default-First-Site-Name'} | FT Name,IsGlobalCatalog
