How to Change the Schedule for a Web Content Project

This topic provides steps for changing the schedule in a Web content project. You change a schedule to specify different options or times for staging the Web content project. For example, if you created a staging project to deploy updates at a single timeā€”at a specific time on a certain day, you can change a schedule to deploy the updates at another time or on a recurring basis.

To change the schedule for a Web content project

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and the click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In Microsoft Management Console (MMC), in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Staging, expand <server name>, and then click Projects.

  3. In the right pane, right-click the project that you want to change, and then click Properties.

  4. In the Project Properties dialog box, on the Schedule tab, in the Deploy on schedule section, select the schedule that you want to change, and then click Edit.

  5. In the Edit Schedule dialog box, click Once to stage the project a single time, specify the Start time, Month, Day, and Year for staging the project, and then click OK.

    If you want to stage the project on a recurring basis, click Weekly on, select the day(s) on which you want to stage the project, and then click OK.

  6. In the Project Properties dialog box, click OK.
