Configure notification settings

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To configure notification settings

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Network, and then click the Computers tab. The list view displays the server and the client computers within your network.

  3. In the task pane, click View notification settings. The Notification settings page appears.

  4. In Notification settings window, do the following:

    • On the Services page, select the services that you want to be notified about in e-mail.

    • On the Performance counters page, select the performance counters that you want to be notified about in e-mail.

    • On the Event Log errors page, select the event log errors that you want to be notified about in e-mail.

    • On the E-mail address page, specify the e-mail addresses that you want to receive notifications. If you specify multiple e-mail addresses, separate them with a semi-colon.

  5. To save the changes, click OK.
