  2. Repair user access to the internal Web site

  3. Repair user access to Windows SharePoint Services

  4. Repair the Windows SharePoint Services database

Solution   Perform the following procedures:

  1. Back up the existing data on your server.

  2. Back up the Windows Internal Database files.

  3. Clean up the existing settings.

  4. Create a SharePoint Web application and site collection.

  5. Import the backup data into the newly created site.

  6. Recreate the original internal Web site environment.

  7. Reinstall the Windows Internal Database.

This command exports the data by backing it up to companyweb.bak. In order for the command to work, your internal Web site must be functioning. If this step fails, verify that the Internet Information Services (IIS) and Domain Name System (DNS) settings are repaired.
