Managing Group Chat User Access

The following topics describe how to use the Group Chat Administration Tool to manage user access in Group Chat. Users who manage Group Chat Server using the Group Chat Administration Tool require user administration permissions. When you install Group Chat Server, you specify one or more users who have the necessary user administration permissions as super users on the system. To manage user access, sign in to the Group Chat Administration Tool using one of those accounts. To grant this permission to additional user accounts, use the Manage Users and User Groups dialog box. For details, see Enabling a User to Administer Users.
