Using Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant

Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant works with Office Communicator 2007 R2 to support the team office environment. With Communicator 2007 R2, team members are designated as delegates who can answer, route, or make calls for managers. The team-member delegates use Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant to perform their delegate tasks. When the team member is designated a delegate, Office Communications 2007 R2 Attendant adds “People I Support” to their console.

If you have configured delegates who will be using Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant to answer your calls and make calls on your behalf, you can display your Delegates group in the Contact List (see Delegating Your Calls to One or More Assistants).
