Appendix C: Device Update Service Performance Counters

You can use the following performance counters in Performance Monitor to monitor the activity of Device Update Service:

The category name is UCUpdatesServer.

  • UCUpdatesRequestsSucceeded. The number of update requests by devices that resulted in successful installation of an update.
  • UCUpdatesRequestsFailed. The number of update requests by devices that resulted in a failed update installation.
  • UCUpdatesRequestsReceived. The total number of update requests received.
  • UCUpdatesLogUploadRequests. The number of times devices uploaded device logs to Device Update Service.
  • UCUpdatesLogAppendRequests. The number of times devices uploaded device log messages to Device Update Service.
