Call Authorization

To manage identities, the DCS framework must be able to verify access for all calls made through the DCS Dynamic Messaging Patterns that also use an external authorization service. The DCS Dynamic Messaging Patterns uses the following variables to perform authorization:

  • SOAP action of the service called
  • Caller identity (SAML token)
  • Scope of the call (for example, physical location of the caller)
