You must add server roles and enable SVC MIME type on your Windows Server 2008, before installing CCF Server on a Windows Server 2008 machine.

Note

You must register the ServiceModel on the CCF server, if you install IIS after installing the .Net framework. To register the ServiceModel, run the following command from the command prompt on the CCF server:
%SystemRoot%\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v3.0\Windows Communication Foundation\ServiceModelReg.exe –i
