Renaming of Microsoft DCS 1.0 Files

During the upgrade, the previously installed Web.config files will be renamed to Web.rtm.config files. You can recover any modifications that you made after you installed DCS by comparing the Web.rtm.config files to the newly installed Web.config files.

Similarly, the DCS 1.0 cache database will be renamed as CacheDatabase.rtm.sdf. You can use custom scripts to recover the data and store it in the new CacheDatabase.sdf.

The Mmc.config file in the bin folder of DCS installer will be renamed to Dcsmanagementservices.mmc.rtm.config. You can use this configuration file as a back-up.
