Adding the AzMan and Admin Console Snap-ins

The CCF Admin Console is installed with the installation; however, you must add it to the management console (MMC). At the same time, you must also add the Authorization Manager to the console.

Add the snap-in’s using the steps below:

  1. Click on Start -> Run and type mmc in the Run window.

  2. Under the File menu, click Add/Remove Snapin….

  3. In the Add/Remove Snap in window, click Add….

  4. In the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box, select CCF Admin Console and click Add and then Close.

  5. Click Ok to add the CCF Admin Console snap-in to the MMC.

  6. Click on CCF Admin Console in the Console Root, and click Connect. This will bring up a connect window.

  7. Type in the machine name of the <IISSvr>server and the port number. Click Connect. Once the connection is made, the snap in will be added to the list.

  8. In the Add Standalone Snap in window, click on Authorization Manager and click Add.

  9. Close the Add Standalone Snap in window.

  10. On the Add/Remove Snap in window, click OK.

  11. You can save the Admin Console to the Desktop to make it easy to find.

    1. Under the File menu, click Save As…
    2. In the Save As window, click the Desktop icon
    3. Give the console a unique name such as CCF Admin Console and click Save.
    4. Close the Console window.
