Customizing the Integrated Desktop

The Integrated Desktop (ID) includes the server and client components of the ID and the CCF administrative tool. The following sections describe how to configure and customize the development environment, the ID, and the Administrative Console.

To use the ID, CSR agents and other users must have administrator rights on their computers. A user who already has administrator rights on a computer can grant administrator privileges to another user or group of users. After a user has administrator privileges, he or she can configure the CSR development environment.

Note

To grant administrator rights on a computer, you must first install theWindows 2003 Service Pack 1 32-bit Support Tools. You can download the tools at https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=6EC50B78-8BE1-4E81-B3BE-4E7AC4F0912D&displaylang=en. If you do not install the support tools, you will receive in an unrecognized command error when you attempt to configure Administrator rights on the user’s computer.
