Verifying the DCS Configuration

To verify DCS Installation:

  1. Verify if “DCS Business Logic Visual Studio Extension” is available in the Add Remove Programs list of the Control Panel.

  2. Ensure the solution file template is available in Visual Studio 2008:

    1. Open Visual Studio 2008.
    2. Click File > New > Project
    3. Verify if you have “DCS BL VSExtensionsCCF” template under “Guidance Packages”.

  4. Ensure you can browse DCS web services. To verify if you can browse DCS web services:

    1. Add DCS Management snap-in as mentioned in the previous section.
    2. Ensure you are able to browse all nodes in the MMC.

  6. Ensure Agent Desktop can access CCF server. To verify if Agent Desktop can access the CCF server:

    1. Ensure you have installed DCS and have configured the appropriate endpoints.
    2. Launch the CCF Agent desktop in the client machine.
    3. Open a new session.
    4. Navigate between hosted applications
