ExcludeAssembliesList and UseExcludeAssembliesList

The Use Exclusion List check box is used to exclude a list of assemblies from serialization during proxy generation or task deployment. The value specified in the Use Exclusion List check box is stored in the UseExcludeAssembliesList registry key. The default value is False.

The assemblies that are excluded during serialization are stored in AssemblyNamez_zAssemblyPath format in a comma-separated list the ExcludeAssembliesList registry key. The default value for this registry key is Microsoft.ConnectedIndustry.ServiceModel.Common.dllz_zD:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Visual%20Studio%209.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\,Microsoft.ConnectedIndustry.ProcessExecution.Common.dllz_zD:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Visual%20Studio%209.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\,Microsoft.ConnectedIndustry.ProcessExecution.WorkflowBase.dllz_zD:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Visual%20Studio%209.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\,Microsoft.ConnectedIndustry.ProcessExecution.WorkflowHost.dllz_zD:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Visual%20Studio%209.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\,Microsoft.ConnectedIndustry.ServiceModel.dllz_zD:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Visual%20Studio%209.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\,Microsoft.ConnectedIndustry.ServiceModel.WorkflowClientBase.dllz_zD:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Visual%20Studio%209.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\,Microsoft.ConnectedIndustry.ProcessExecution.Entities.dllz_zD:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Visual%20Studio%209.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\.

To view or modify the list of assemblies

1. Start Visual Studio, and on the Tools menu, click Options.

2. On the left pane, under DCS, click Exclude Assemblies.

3. The list of assemblies appears on the right pane. To add an assembly, click the Add GAC Assembly button or the Add Assembly button, depending on the location of the assembly. To remove an assembly, select the row, and then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
