By using advanced customization techniques, you can change the implementation of many Connection Manager functions. For example, you can:
Create a custom button that appears on the Connection Manager user interface to start applications or run processes.
Prepopulate user name, password, phone number, and dialing properties for use in your connection profile.
Show a particular set of phone numbers based on user selection of connection device.
Remove the General tab from the Properties dialog boxes for VPN-only connection profiles.
Control whether the Save password check box appears on the Connection Manager user interface.
Control whether the Logon domain field appears.
Specify your multilink strategy.
Specify logging behavior.
Turn off balloon-tip help for Connection Manager.
