You can delegate authority to a precise level with user roles. For more information about user roles, see the About User Roles in Operations Manager 2007 topic in the Operations Manager 2007 Help (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=108357).

The following groups can be used for scoping and roles authorization:

  • Exchange 2007 Server Roles Group (contains all discovered Exchange 2007 server roles)

  • Exchange 2007 Computer Group (contains all discovered Exchange 2007 computers)
