Updated: June 1, 2013
Applies To: Windows Intune
Requirements for the Service to Service Connector
An environment in which the Windows Intune Exchange Connector is installed or configured must meet the following requirements:
A Windows Intune environment with a valid Windows Intune subscription.
An Office 365 account that has an Exchange 2013 tenant. The Service to Service Connector supports a mixed environment of Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013 as long as the tenant is Exchange 2013.
If you are using Active Directory to provision users to the MS Online directory service (MSODS), you must set up and configure Directory Synchronization. For more information, see Active Directory Synchronization Roadmap.
Note If you are managing users only using MSODS, user synchronization is automatic.
The Windows Intune tenant administrator must also be an administrator in the Exchange tenant and have an Exchange 2013 license.
