Customers who Purchased FOPE Through a Microsoft Volume License Agreement
Topic Last Modified: 2013-10-25
If you purchased a FOPE subscription on an active Microsoft Volume Licensing agreement, including Enterprise, Open Value, Open Value Subscription, Select or Select Plus, Campus & Student, and Government agreement, you will be provided with the equivalent number of EOP licenses to facilitate the transition.
The license term will terminate along with your existing subscription. When your current FOPE subscription under your Volume Licensing agreement expires, the EOP licenses granted to replace FOPE will also expire. At this time, you will need to purchase your EOP renewal through the Microsoft Office 365 portal or through an authorized Microsoft reseller partner. For more information, see How to Renew Your Exchange Online Protection Transition Subscription.
If you do not already have an Office 365 tenant set up, we will create one on your behalf as part of the transition. Your existing Volume Licensing agreement will govern your use of EOP during the transition period.
