Downloading and Installing the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant

Lync Server 2013

Topic Last Modified: 2014-03-27

As of March, 2014, you no longer need to install the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant in order to make a remote Windows PowerShell connection to Lync Online. Instead, an updated version of the Lync Online Connector module will install the Identity service Client Runtime Library (IDCRL), an authentication mechanism that replaces the Sign-In Assistant. For more information, see the help topic Downloading and Installing the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant.
