Windows Azure Pack machine naming conventions

It is easier to identify machines if you use descriptive names. For example, this guide uses the names listed in the Sample machine name column.

Each machine in your deployment must have a name that is 15 characters or less.

You should use names similar to those provided in the Sample machine name for high availability column for a high availability deployment. For more information about high availability, see Windows Azure Pack high availability.
