Detailed Description

The New-SCVMHostFibreChannelVirtualSAN cmdlet creates a virtual Fibre Channel SAN object on a Hyper-V host.

Parameters

-Description<String>

States a description for the specified object.

-HostFibreChannelHba<HostFibreChannelHba[]>

Specifies a host Fibre Channel HBA object.

To obtain a Fibre Channel HBA object, use the Get-SCVMHostFibreChannelHba cmdlet.

-JobGroup<Guid]>

Specifies an identifier for a series of commands that will run as a set just before the final command that includes the same job group identifier runs.

-JobVariable<String>

Specifies that job progress is tracked and stored in the variable named by this parameter.

-Name<String>

Specifies the name of a VMM object.

-PROTipID<Guid]>

Specifies the ID of the PRO tip that triggered this action. This allows for auditing of PRO tips.

-RunAsynchronously

Indicates that the job runs asynchronously so that control returns to the command shell immediately.
