How to Renew Your Exchange Online Protection Transition Subscription

As part of the Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE) transition, you received a subscription of Exchange Online Protection (EOP), which ends with your existing FOPE agreement. When these subscription licenses expire you must purchase a new EOP subscription to continue using the service.
EOP can be purchased in the following ways:
- Through License programs, including Office 365 Open channel and Enterprise Agreement. EOP can be purchased as a standalone subscription or as an Enterprise CAL (ECAL) or Exchange Enterprise CAL (EECAL) with Services subscription. To purchase your new EOP subscription in this way, contact your Microsoft partner or authorized representative who will guide you through this process. After you’ve purchased your subscription, follow the steps in Activate your subscription from Volume Licensing.
- Directly from Microsoft via the Office 365 portal. For information about purchasing EOP directly from Microsoft, contact your Microsoft Advisor partner or authorized representative, or simply follow the steps in Renew your subscription directly from Microsoft.
|EOP cannot be purchased individually through Select, Select Plus, Service Provider Licensing Agreement (SPLA), Open Value, or Open Value subscriptions.|
