A third-party display driver is installed
Topic Last Modified: 2009-09-14
During the installation of Microsoft Exchange Server, the Microsoft Exchange Analyzer Tool determines whether a third-party display driver is installed. When a third-party display driver is discovered, Exchange Analyzer displays the following message:
A third-party display driver '{9}' is installed on server {2}. This may cause excessive nonpaged pool memory usage on the server. It is recommended to use the standard VGA driver provided by Windows to save nonpaged pool memory. |
A non-standard VGA driver may consume lots of nonpaged pool memory. If Exchange Analyzer detects that the nonpaged pool memory is low or critical, you are prompted to remove the third-party driver and to use the Standard VGA driver that is provided by Windows. We recommend that you remove any third-party graphics drivers along with any associated Graphics Accelerator drivers, and use the default standard VGA driver that is provided by Windows.
