DFS Namespace

You can use Distributed File System (DFS) namespace to group shared folders that are located on different servers into one or more logically structured namespaces. Each namespace appears to users as a single shared folder with a series of subfolders. However, the underlying structure of the namespace can consist of numerous shared folders that are located on different servers and in multiple sites.

Trusted Domain Information Status

The Distributed File System (DFS) service initializes trusted domain information so that client computers can access trusted domains. If DFS namespace is not able to initialize trusted domain information, DFS client computers will not be able to access trusted domains.
