Event ID:   5374

Summary:   Some form actions, such as running business logic, switching views, or submitting the form, require a postback to the server. An error occurred when this postback was processed by InfoPath Forms Services in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.

Symptoms:   One or more of the following symptoms might appear:

  • An error message appears when filling out the form.

  • This event appears in the event log: Event ID: 5374 Description: There was a form postback error. (User: <UserName>, Form Name: <FormName>, Request: <https://servername/_layouts/Postback.Formserver.aspx>, Form ID: <FormID>, Type: <ExceptionType>, Exception Message: <ExceptionMessage>)

Cause:   An internal server error occurred.
