Helper.UseItemId method

Coerces a Object to an SPItemKey using AsSPItemKeyExceptNullNoConvert(WorkflowContext, Object) which retrieves an SPItemKey object and then returns the Id property of the result.

Parameters

  Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowActions.WorkflowContext

  A WorkflowContext object that contains properties that are associated with the active workflow instance.

• val
  Type: System.Object

  A Object.

Return value

Type: System.Int32
The list item ID.

Remarks

If the object supplied to this method is not an SPItemKey, then a CoercionException is returned.
