Helper.DisplayNameAsText method

Retrieves and returns the display name of a user based on the specified user login name.

Parameters

• context
  Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowActions.WorkflowContext

  A workflow context that contains properties that are associated with the active workflow instance.

• val
  Type: System.Object

  An object that contains the user login name.

Return value

Type: System.String
The display name.

Remarks

This method returns the user login name if the display name cannot be retrieved, or the empty string if the val is null .
