Browse Cached Contents on Disk on ARR

Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista

This topic describes how to view cached content by using IIS Manager. You must have Application Request Routing (ARR) and the disk-based cache feature configured to view content that is cached on the ARR server. If you have not configured the disk-based cache feature, see Configure and Enable Disk Cache in ARR.

Browse Cached Content

You can view content that is cached on the ARR server by using IIS Manager.

To browse cached content

  1. Open IIS Manager.

  2. In the Connections pane, select the server node.

  3. In the Server pane, double-click Application Request Routing Cache.

  4. In the Actions pane, click Browse Cache Content.

  5. On the Cache Content page, view the cached content from your primary disk cache locations. This consolidated view lets you view cached content from several drive locations, including compressed and uncompressed files. The consolidated view does not include cached content from the secondary disk cache location.
