The Edit Outbound Rules Settings dialog box is used to specify whether responses should be rewritten before they are cached.

When selected, specifies that HTTP responses will be rewritten before they are stored in the user-mode cache. Caching improves the performance of HTTP responses, and storing rewritten responses in the cache will save the processing overhead that is associated for rewriting responses. |
