Add Output Format Dialog Box

Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista

Use the Add Output Format dialog box to specify the XSLT style sheet to apply to Web playlist (.isx) files so that they can be used by other applications.

UI Element List

Element Name Description

Enabled

Select the check box to enable the XSL transformation on the Web server.

Format name

Enter the format name that must be specified in the playlist URL for the user (for example, https://server_name/playlist_name.isx?format=format_name), where format_name is any name that you use to identify the output format (for example, atom).

Important
Do not include a space in the format name as unexpected results can occur when Web Playlists tries to deliver the transformed response to clients.

XSLT path

Enter the path of the uploaded XSLT style sheet, relative to the site root (for example, /xslt/atom.xsl).

Content type

Enter the MIME media type setting for the output format (for example, application/atom+xml). The MIME media type setting identifies the file format on the Internet. For a complete list of registered MIME media types, see the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Web site.
