Pipeline Editor
The Pipeline Editor is an application used for editing Commerce Server pipelines. You can use it to edit a pipeline on your local computer or on a computer connected to a local area network (LAN).
Pipelines are described in pipeline configuration (.pcf) files. You create and configure .pcf files with the Pipeline Editor.
The Pipeline Editor displays a pipeline as a pipe, showing the stages of the pipeline as pipe segments. The components used in a stage appear as valves.
Certain components have an affinity with certain stages. This means that the component can function within that stage. Commerce Server does not enforce this stage and component association. You may include any component in any stage.
Note
- If you use the Pipeline Editor to display the components having an affinity with a given stage, you will see the Money Converter and Scriptor components. These components have an affinity with all stages.
